Bear rescued us in February 2018. He was a stray and brought in to the RSPCA in Rickmansworth, London. Our best friend found him on the website and knew that he’d complete our family and bring love and happiness back in to our lives.
Well, his beautiful gentle character and sweet soul has enriched us every day since. He was the child we never had 🩵💚
He had FIV (Feline immunodeficiency virus) so we knew from the start that he would need special care and could be susceptible to illness due to compromised immune system. This is where Amanda and the incredible Cat’s Whiskers team have literally been a ‘lifeline’ for Bear over the last 7 years. We can’t thank them enough for the genuine love and care they provided, right up until we said goodnight to him on 5th May. That was the saddest day of our life…
We miss him painfully every day. We honestly can’t remember feeling so heartbroken in all our lives. Our hearts and home feel so empty.
But we know that his beautiful soul is always by our side and at the end of our bed, safe and snug, purring his little head off 🩵💚
