IMPORTANT NOTICE Cat’s Whiskers Temporary Clinic Closure

In order to help minimise the spread of Coronavirus and protect the health of our staff as well as the health of our clients, I have taken the decision to close Cat’s Whiskers to members of the public from Monday 23rd March until further notice.

Please be reassured we will still be providing veterinary care to all our registered feline patients. In order to do this, we have had to implement some changes to how we usually provide our services.

URGENT cases only – will be seen in the clinic by prior arrangement, cats will need to be dropped off outside the clinic, we will provide full instructions when you contact us.

ROUTINE cases only – will be via video or telephone consult only on a pre-booked appointment basis.

Medication and cat food – will be available to order as normal and collect from outside the clinic by prior arrangement. Please place your order on line via our website or by telephoning the clinic. We are also able to order cat litter, accessories and consumables for your cat, as well as medication, and pet food for any other pets you have at home via our supplier, if you are having difficulty sourcing items.

My recommendation to help reduce the likelihood of your cat needing an urgent appointment, is that you keep your cat indoors at all times during this outbreak. This will prevent your cat getting injured by a road traffic accident, a cat fight, attack by fox or dog, for example, and really is the best way to keep your cat safe.

I have not taken this decision lightly and I thank you for your support and understanding,
