25% of UK adults have a cat; there is approximately 11.1 million cats in the UK alone – that’s a lot of cats!

If we are bringing a cat into our home and more importantly into our hearts, we should do everything we can to ensure they look forward to a bright, healthy and long future with us.

I don’t mean to alarm anyone with this next bit but it is extremely important to know the facts about a cat’s life and death so you can make an informed decision for your fur babies future. Sadly the leading cause of death is still trauma, such as road accidents closely followed by viral infectious diseases.

As cats get older they are also more susceptible to conditions such as kidney disease, hyperthyroidism and high blood pressure.

Now we get to the good bit, a lot of progress has been made over the years and a lot of these diseases are preventable, or at the very least treatable.

Our Cat Health Plan, is our way of ensuring the best possible proactive and preventative approach to your cat’s healthcare. There are 3 plans as well as add ons, such as our dental premium and the MOT. So if you own, or if like me, be owned by a cat, there is a plan for everyone.

All our plans make it easy for your cat to be protected against preventable disease or discomfort by making sure the vaccinations, parasite control and general health are up to date. This will save you money too and who doesn’t like saving money, I know I do.

Plus being on one of our plans ensures we get to see your cat at the very least 2 times a year and if you have been lucky enough to get a kitten, we can help with their development, neutering and microchipping all at a very reasonable discounted rate.

I hope I have helped in some way but should you have any questions I’d be more than happy to run through things over the phone or in the clinic.
