Cat Pain Relief Through Veterinary Acupuncture

Are holistic therapies of interest to you? Well Veterinary Acupuncture is becoming a popular way to provide pain relief for cats, to reduce the side effects of drugs, or offer some relief in conditions which are not responding to conventional treatments.

Why do cat owners choose acupuncture?

For some owners it is a lifestyle choice, for others acupuncture offers an alternative when other treatments have not quite achieved the results that would be ideal for their cats.

In-house acupuncture clinic

We are pleased to offer in-house acupuncture at our clinic in a tranquil environment. The relaxing treatment chosen to reflect the individuality of your feline friend can be given in one of two ways:

  • Using ultra fine needles
  • Using a completely non-invasive technique which stimulates acupuncture points

Whichever option you choose, cats are extremely sensitive to the effects of this ancient Chinese art of healing.

Veterinary Acupuncturist Suzannah Stacey MRCVS

Veterinary Acupuncturist Suzannah Stacey MRCVS visits the clinic to perform acupuncture on our feline patients.

Suzannah started her career in the veterinary industry as a receptionist before going on to become a veterinary nurse, and later a veterinary surgeon.
